Testimonials

“My name is Fatima Choudhery and I am 16 years old, and I have been working for MYEEP since 2006. Working with MYEEP has shown me how to work properly with the elders, how to maintain a positive attitude towards anything that comes my way, and how being you is the greatest thing you can do. Working with elders, teaches you a lesson not only in history, but about the troubles and how to deal with them. I have a new respect for elders and I have gained new friends and bonded with people that I never thought possible. Having an attitude that’s tolerable towards oneself or others leads to a better society. By being yourself you can achieve much more than you could imagine than by being someone else. I’ve learned in this program, that this community can teach oneself how to become a better person and that by doing something small can mean so much more. By working with the friendly staff I have gained a new family. This new family of mine prepares me for the world around me and the challenges that I will have to face once I’m on my own. While working with MYEEP I have learned to better prepare myself for the future by saving my money and learning to manage my bank account.”
