Aisha Blackwell serves as the Chief People & Operations Officer, overseeing HR, Marketing, Operations, Facilities, and IT, ensuring that YCD’s internal systems and people strategies work together to support its mission. Aisha leads with a strong commitment to people, creating strength-based, mission-driven initiatives where individuals and teams can thrive. Rooted in her love for humanity, Aisha combines compassionate, servant leadership with strategic innovation to foster sustainable organizational growth and cultural transformation.
As a coach, strategist, and advisor, Aisha excels at the intersection of people and systems-balancing her passion for human connection with her expertise in organizational design to enhance internal culture and strengthen the organization’s capacity to serve the community externally.
Aisha holds a B.A. in Communications from UC San Diego, a CHRO Executive Certification from the Wharton Executive Business School, and a Certificate in Social Impact and Nonprofit Leadership from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice.
