    • Funds a full year of a core program (youth dev. or reentry) 

    • Endows a participant support fund 

    • Supports leadership development for frontline staff 

    • Covers strategic planning & organizational growth capacity

To scale workforce pathways

    • Sponsors a full workforce development cohort (25+ participants) 

    • Funds one full time staff member for six months 

    • Supports technology upgrades (data systems, client tracking) 

    • Launches a new employer partnership initiative

To expand direct services

    • Funds housing stabilization support for ten families 

    • Supports reentry case management services for a full quarter 

    • Covers emergency rental assistance pool 

    • Funds one program staff position for one month

To power career access

    • Sponsors one workforce training cohort workshop series 

    • Funds industry-recognized certification exams 

    • Supports paid internship placements for 3-5 participants 

    • Covers one month of job placement services 

From Potential to Purpose

Growing up in Sunnydale San Francisco, Kassidy Gary was determined to rise above the statistics often placed on her community. Through YCD’s EPA JRT program, she found more than job training, she found a support system that believed in her potential.

Despite balancing work and personal challenges, Kassidy stayed committed and successfully completed the program. The guidance and encouragement she received strengthened her leadership skills and deepened her desire to give back.
