Legacy Builders
To shape the next 50 years together

Underwrites multi-year strategic growth plan and resilience plan that enables YCD to forecast, adapt, and expand services that address systemic barriers.
Supports an innovation fund to pilot new community initiatives.
Invests in holistic, wrap-around support services that improve participant outcomes – i.e., stipends, transportation, tools, and technology access.
Stabilizes organizational reserves that contributes to YCD’s long-term goal of owning a permanent headquarters, ensuring stability and eliminating reliance on short-term leases.

Contributes to innovative strategies to implement within our ecosystem of workforce readiness training provided that align with industry trends and demands
Sponsors a full workforce development cohort with 25+ participants
Funds industry-recognized certification exams that directly improve employability and long-term retention.
Supports the Mayor’s Employment & Education Program (MYEEP) with exanded training and support year-to-year with academic coaching.
Enables 6-10 paid summer interns through our CityWorks and Study Local programs, allowing university students to earn while they learn, with the goal of cultivating a long-term relationship between interns and employers.

Funds housing stabilization support for at least ten families, who's funding currently relies heavily on the city agencies of San Francisco.
Supports reentry case management services connecting justice-involved adults to jobs, housing, and support systems.
Improves service integration between workforce, housing and education support for wraparound care.
Advances, innovates and expands our Rental Housing Counseling that has supported TBD participants in less than one year.
