District 10 Essential Services Hub

As a front line service provider, YCD bears witness to the devastating effects of COVID-19 on our community. Although we have been providing our full range of services virtually and actively working to address the food desert and bridge the digital divide, there is still much more work to be done as a community.

With the full support of the Latino Task Force (who paved the way and has been successfully operating a community hub in the mission), YCD is happy to partner with Rafiki Coalition for Health and Wellness, Bayview YMCA, and Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) to announce the District 10 (D10) Essential Services Hub. The D10 Hub has been fully operational since February and is bringing much-needed resources and services to the Bayview Hunters Point community and all residents of San Francisco.

The D10 Hub, located at the Southeast Community Facility at 1800 Oakdale Avenue, offers a range of services including:

  • Workforce Development/ Employment Assistance

  • Housing and Economic Relief Assistance

  • Housing Counseling/ Eviction Defense

  • Mental Health and Wellness

  • Legal Services

  • Tax Preparation Assistance

Appointments and walk-ins have gradually been picking up over the last couple of weeks. A street outreach team was created to help get the word out to the community. We hope to see more community members take advantage of these services in the near future.

Please join us in sharing this information to community members, friends, and family.

The hub is open Wednesday and Thursday of each week from 10:00am – 4:00pm. To abide by COVID-19 safety protocols, masks are required to be worn at all times and temperature checks will be administered. Appointments are encouraged and can be made by calling (415) 532-725 or emailing LTFhub@gmail.com.

Client Testimonial

“I came to get Housing Rental Assistance. The last time I came in, I didn’t have the proper paperwork. They told me what I needed to bring in so I’m back with the right paperwork. Another gentleman helped me last time, I forgot his name… but Chadid helped me apply to get assistance for some of my overdue bills. Chadid was organized, very kind, and helpful. Now I just have to wait to see if I get approved.”
