February was filled with joy
Black History Month Celebration!
Black to the Future hosted an awesome Black History Month Celebration at the YCD Warehouse with fun games, great food and community partners.
Town Hall Award Winners
At our most recent town hall, the HR team handed out awards to all the Espressa challenge winners of last quarter. Congratulations to everyone who won!
Honoring Tim Waters
The SF Board of Supervisors, honored Timothy Waters by recognizing his dedication to the Bayview hunters point community through his years of service and mentorship. Dozens of YCD members showed up in full force to congratulate Mr. Waters.
Teladoc Launch
To better support our employees the HR team has partnered with Teladoc, a mental health support service and program to help your get the care you need. Check out this recording from HR for more info.

Community Business Spotlight
Old Skool soul food with some real community spirit!
Old Skool Cafe is a youth - run jazz themed supper club that provides job training, employment and a second chance at life for at-risk and formerly incarcerated youth. Located at 1429 Mendell Street, swing on by during weekends to get some good eats with a good message behind it.
