What is the Community Economic Mobility Vehicle (CEMVe)?

What is the Community Economic Mobility Vehicle (CEMVe)?

The CEMVe is a mobile unit (converted meal truck) that has been designed to provide connection and coordination to essential supportive services, workforce programming, and other strategies that lead to financial wellbeing.

CEMVe is the result of ongoing conversations with District 10 residents who informed the design process. They shared the value of creating a program that could:

  • Increase access and exposure to resources available to District 10 residents.
  • Be offered in a community setting, breaking barriers that limit community access by only offering services in traditional fashions such as brick and mortar locations.
  • Embrace the concept of “meeting community where they are.”
  • Build a greater sense of community through the sharing of positive cultural norms.
What Do We Offer?

What Do We Offer?

We believe in leveraging the wealth of resources that exist within District 10 to support residents with achieving their goals as it relates to economic well-being. To do this, we focus on offering services directly through strong partnerships in the following areas:

  • Education
  • Financial empowerment
  • Health & Wellbeing
  • Housing
  • Legal Support
  • Workforce
