As we move into the 4th quarter of the year, we are also approaching a season of giving. Fundraising is an opportunity to raise funds to help drive our mission to break cycles of generational poverty for communities of color. We know that we can't do this alone. It is your continued support that keeps us going. This year, we are excited to announce our Kick off the season of giving by spearheading a peer-to-peer Giving Tuesday fundraising campaign. Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that encourages people and organizations to transform their communities and the world through the power of giving.

Every year we seek to find creative ways around fundraising that allows us to engage with the community. Last year we partnered with the local restaurants to raise funds for our partner, Black to the Future. This year we aim to raise $10,000.00, and the proceeds will go to our Fellowship Program. YCD's Fellowship Program has empowered dozens of young adults looking to establish careers in various fields. We specifically address the challenges recent college graduates face by advancing their career goals and expanding their network for long-term employment, which means sustainability. Our Fellowship Program allows YCD to cultivate the next generation of young professionals.
