DJ Brookter
Dion-Jay (DJ) Brookter has over 5 years of experience as the acting Executive Director of Young Community Developers. DJ utilizes his well-equipped interpersonal and communication skills to run one of the most well established workforce development nonprofits in San Francisco. He has Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications and a Masters in Business Administration. His true forte is in creating, mending, and retaining lasting friend and business relationships on all levels and facets.
DJ grew up playing soccer but ultimately landed himself a football scholarship as an outside linebacker at Utah State. He is still heavily involved with his alma mater, and has participated in multiple speaking engagements on campus.
